Alakazam!, formed by Martha Jacovoni, lead, Ann Aucello, bass, Carol Driscoll, tenor and Cory Winters, baritone, is excited to be the Region #1 2007 1st place medalists! The quartet was first formed in 1997 when Martha (Lead) invited Ann (Bass) and two other women to come and sing in her kitchen "just for fun." Ann originally thought they should call themselves The Kitchen Cabinet. Despite a few personnel changes, Alakazam! continues to enjoy the distinction of being an energetic, fun-loving quartet with a solid barbershop sound.
